Class Description

If you look up the work courage in the dictionary, you’ll find something to the notion of ‘the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc. without fear’. But I like to think of courage as ones ability to move through life, and all its experiences (good and bad), with the confidence to trust and believe in ones actions irregardless of what others might think or say. Yes, courage is the ability to face fear, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation with strength, determination, and resilience. But it is not the absence of fear but rather the willingness to act despite fear or adversity. Courage can manifest in various ways, such as standing up for what's right, taking risks for a greater good, facing challenges head-on, or persevering in difficult times and circumstances. It often involves a mix of bravery, confidence, and moral, emotional and ethical fortitude. At the centre of the chakra system is the heart chakra - the great integrator of the lower three energy centers and the upper three. Where the lower three chakras are responsible for one’s physical, emotional and self-identification, it is in the upper three chakras that you explore the realms of speaking your truth through expanded consciousness and the understanding of the interconnectedness in us all. And it is here, at the anahata chakra, your heart center, where you learn to trust in yourself, your abilities and intuition, to cultivate the courage to do, say and think the things you need to in order to support your Self and the world around you with love, compassion and a grateful heart.
