About Me

1992-2000

Dance Assistant & Instructor,

Group Fitness Instructor

From a young age, I've always loved to move. From recreational dance and a variety of sports (including softball, volleyball, hockey, running, cycling, kayaking and more), I've kept active as a means to stay fit, healthy and strong.

 

In the late '90s, I was introduced to Yoga, and the mindfulness of both posture and breathe.

2000-

Yoga Teacher

After college, I continued to explore the philosophy of Yoga and ritually found myself practicing on my yoga mat, propped between the boob-tube and couch. Each practice at home inspire my teaching practice at the local gym, where students met with me at various times each week.

This weekly routine lead to full-time work by 2008 upon which I opened my first Yoga Studio. It was then that I realize how profound this practice was, and how little I knew, which lead to further training.

​

Since then, I've travelled the world, learning, practicing and embodying the philoosphy, principles and practices of both Yoga & Ayurveda.
